Northwind solo canoe

 Has anyone paddled the new Bell Northwind solo canoe? How is the quality of workmanship?<br />

I need another solo canoe for a grandson so he can accompany me on my morning lake and swamp photography trips.

Any thoughts on the regular Kevlar layup vs the black gold layup?

I paddle a carbon fusion Swift Osprey and he is paddling a Sawyer Kevlar DY Special but he needs a more maneuverable solo for swamp travel.

Have seen one
But not paddled it. Workmanship was very nice. What about a Phoenix for maneuverability?

Northwind solo the largest of Yost’s solo trippers; less maneuverable than Osprey. Phoenix a stretched WildFire, much more maneuverable than Osprey but less emphasis on tracking.
