Oakley sunglasses

2nd that

Agreed here. I have had 2 pair of Serengetis, at $30 ea. from Campmor, and the optics are noticeably better for me than the el cheapos, which make my eyes hurt and give me headaches. And if you pay $25 or more for shades you're more liable to keep track of them. Never have lost a pair. Also have never found a lens I like better than the sienna which adjust to different light levels. Sometimes I forget I have 'em on.

But to each his own, if you can get by with the el cheapos than good on ya.

Lots of good advise
As noted several times, check out Campmor or Sierra Trading Post. I got a pair Serengetis, they make a model call H20. They are polarized, come with a soft case that floats and a strap that has 2 small closed cell foam floats. bottom line, the glasses won’t sink. I’ve had them for 2 years now.

Good luck!

I just bought a pair of these that work like a combo of goggles and sunglasses. I’ll give a review after I test them in the great outdoors

LOL! Although I may not reply as much,
I still read alot of these… As for the deer gambrell. I agree, I see them at Wal-Mart for $14. They have a 3 line pulley & spread far enough to work with. I keep saying I am gonna get one, but I always wait too long and they are all sold. I just use my $4 come-a-long & a 1 inch dowl… Does the same thing. BUT, this year, I am gonna actually buy a gambrell…

...which were originally made by Serengeti, but are now a separate company. I've had a few pairs of their glasses (bought on sale at Campmor or STP) and still use them sometimes, but I've had problems with the lenses falling out of some styles. This is common with Serengetis, too, so perhaps it's the same poor designer who did both.

Bolle
I got a pair of Bolle’s because I couldn’t justify paying that much for Oakleys. I’m satisfied with the Bolle’s. The polarization is very good. They seem to scratch a bit easily, but it may just be the coating because I can’t “see” the scratches when I have them on.
