If you want a quiet place away from crowds, you could check out Bear Run. It’s just outside of Ohiopyle by a few miles near the town of Mill Run. There are primitive hike in tent sites a couple miles in from the parking lot. I think it’s first come first served. Free. No facilities. Pack it in pack it out. I’ve stayed there after running the middle yough with friends and i’ve hiked the trails there a lot. Nice place.
