Except that the gelcoat - and if you’re unlucky, the fiberglass - tends to come of in chunks.
Yeah, we all have “kayak Sherpas”, right?
That is exactly the problem… I am a “sherpa” to my own darn kayak. It ain’t getting easier…

It is amazing how in the past year I have started using my kayak carts on hard surfaces and definitely in sand. I have learned to minimize kayak carry time on the shoulder. And lots of lower back pains have gone away.
