Oh, I don’t know. What could possibly go wrong with that setup? It’s ugly and inelegant, but maybe the kayak won’t get loose and kill someone or cause a major accident. Then again, maybe not. There are plenty of elegant and secure solutions for carrying kayaks on pickup trucks, and they all have the advantage that you look like you know what you’re doing. Just my 2 cents.

I think it’s a topical subject and I just made a video about it, so I think there’s nothing wrong with “reviving” the subject or the post. As for you, please tell me what you’re personally doing to promote paddlesports safety besides insulting me and whining about my comment.
