I use my Dirigo for fishing. Looking to put a rudder on this boat.Old Town does not make a rudder for it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just seemed like a strange question to me.
Was wondering that myself. I’ve an
OT Loon 138, similar hull design, if not cockpit, and have seen no need for a rudder for tracking purposes, the kayak goes straight. Maybe a rudder would make it easier to turn, but that’s not a significant problem. If you want it for drift fishing purposes, take a look at using a drift sock, cheaper and very effective at slowing the kayak down and keeping it in a straight line.
