I recently purchased a used Old Town Loon 138 Kayak. I didn’t notice until I took it out for the first time, but the rubber edge trim that goes around the cockpit cutout is missing. This makes it a bit uncomfortable to rest the side of my legs against the cockpit edge, so I am hoping to replace the trim somehow. I found some rubber edge trim on Amazon, but I ordered the wrong size by accident once already and it was not thick enough to work. I’m curious if anyone else has needed to replace the rubber edge trim on their cockpit and has found a product that works well.
I glued mine back in the Old Town Egret. It came out again. I threw it away. I don’t rest anything against the cockpit rim. Feet on the pegs, paddle.
