Thanks all, for your input on water filters. I am probably going to get an MSR Sweetwater, what I’d like to know, is if it would be a good idea to also use aquamira tabs, sort of belt and suspenders idea?
I’ve been reading the differences of filters and purifiers, and realize they do different things.

Why bother?
Probably don’t need the expense and hassle of a filter if you plan on tabs anyway. You should only need to take out the larger stuff with a sock type pour thru filter if that.
