I’m looking for open palm neoprene mittens 2mm or 3mm thickness that allows me tot pull my fingers out and work the radio, GPS or what have U. I would perfer a place online to order them would be nice. Thank YOU for your Help!

Good luck finding a North American manufacturer, or retailer. I have been pushing for other companies to make the same/similar product and even made a few pairs of my own. The ones I wear have had great response and I think it would be a fantastic product for someone in NA to offer.

Easy enough to make your own
One option is to just take a razor and slice part of the way across the palm of the neoprene mitt. I did this with on old pair of NRS Toaster Mitts. It works OK but I really don’t care for the cold water coming in whenever my hands go under water. Instead I prefer to use Toaster Mitts that are loose enough to easily pull off when I need to use my fingers. I guess it would depend on what you’re doing though, if needing your fingers often (like taking pictures) in water that’s over 45 degrees it would make more sense to use the open palm mitts.



BTW, have you tried Pogies? Personally I don’t like them but 95% of the people that I boat with prefer them.

open palm neoprene mittens
I actually hate poggies. was seriouslylooking at doing U suggest the NRS mitts. It would make messing the GPS, VHF and other stuff easier. Most of the time it used in water above 40 but I mostly want them for keeping my hands warm on very cold, high winds days when it’s right at the sleet/snow conditions really. I’m mostly likely going to go with NRS mitts and just mod the Palm like I want it
