New to SUP (North of Boston, MA) for 2 yrs. While I enjoy paddling alone, its nice occasionally to meet up with others for a group paddle. Having a hard time finding others who will join me. Can anyone offer advise? I have started a conversation on my neighborhood webpage. Ppl seemed interested but no one showed up for the actual paddle date. Thanks
Check with your local sup shop. The local shop coordinates group paddles - too bad for you it’s no where near Boston…
There is a forum called Standup Zone, it’s become mostly a forum for foil and wing surfers but there is a guy who posts regularly who is on Cape Cod and knows many SUP surfers and racers in New England. He might be able to give you some leads. “Johnny Smoke” who posts here sometimes is also in your area and might see your post.
