Sweet. Tundras and Trumpeters are so much nicer than the nasty, aggressive Mute swans that are considered an invasive species and readily attack people.

A marsh madness birdbrain chased me,
out from reeds so now I’m squawkin’,
why’s this long neck Mute so mad?
I dunno, it ain’t talkin’.

And now I’m swimmin’ in it deep,
in flocked-up field many boweled-out loose,
It’s Pan-Ameri-can-doo-demic,
So why still call them Canada goose?

So speak not kindly to the Mutes.
Send poop bombs flappin’ on their way.
Perhaps there’s attitude in Paris,
to send ‘em packin’ back to eh.

I always send this guy out to talk things over with the water fowl. Geese ignore me and listen to him. Not sure about swans though.

Better To Dodge Than To Duck

Towards the mallard he hasn’t malice
just soft mouth for what befoul us
thus he sits with thoughts not evil
quilling time in one’s retrieval

I think that dog has a thing for duck(head)s

Duckheads shouldn’t ever look a swift dog in the mouth.
(Or duck head behind that gift horse while approaching from the south.)
This life is hard living in canard try’n to lift from affront tales evil,
And a duck l’orange should deplore a mange that’s a cur’s with a maw retrieval.

Take that, Arlo Guthrie!
