I live in Atlanta but have paddled in the Hudson several times. I’ve heard that there are circum navs around Manhattan a few times a year. When is the next one? Would it be possible for me to borrow or rent a good kayak. I presently paddle an Impex Force Cat 3 .
Probably hasn’t been in a few years because of covid. Think someone died who ran it or part of it.

It ran this year, just a few weeks ago. The weekends change each year due to the tides. The link above is for 2021 but on the same page is a link for the 2022 event in July.
They seem to have group tours if you Google it with other organizations.
