Very worthwhile!
I went there last March. It is a great paddle sports show. Most of the big name manufacturers are there, with LOTS of items to look at and buy. Lots of kayaks, canoes, and related equipment.

There were a lot of show specials too, so take money if you need anything!

yep
’specially if you wanna part with $$$$ and end up with NEW paddle stuff…

good clinics, lots of toys to oggle, people to meet…etc.

come say HI, me and me wife, Cindy will be in the Wildy booth!

Paddlesport 2006 roll call
Yes either Friday or Saturday.

I recommend it
There are lots of informative seminars, films, and tons of paddling gear with knowledgeable sales reps to answer your questions. Plenty of friendly people too, all too happy to talk about paddling. If you are a beginner or thinking about getting into paddling, this is a great chance to see what kinds of boats and equipment is available, and get some idea of what would suit your needs. If you’re already a paddler…you’ll be drawn like a moth to a flame. If you are anticipating buying a major piece of equipment or gear, you should be able to find some pretty good deals.

If you live in the northern part of NJ, you might want to stop by the Hackensack River Canoe and Kayak Club booth. I’ll be there all three days, and the members and I will be glad to offer advice or just chat. Oh, a word of warning…if you find yourself talking to Fat Elmo, just talk about canoes…don’t mention kaya… I mean, those “decked” canoes. He has some…uhhh…issues.
