Well done and Time Out
It was pretty cool of someone to discard half this thread.
I think we're all taking a time out. I'm reading Vogle and Saunders and waiting for Hooyer to arrive.
Actually, I'm waiting for Carl Delo to do the same reading list.

I take it you mean do the same as in reading Hooyer? I can't really tell. How are you liking Vogel? I love that book.
Funny thing - campus is being repaved and some intrepid backhoe operator severed the main cables connecting us to the internet. The library is open, but the computer card catalog was dead, so I couldn't find the book - yeesh. Anyway, I browsed the stacks instead and am reading "Ships and Water" by J.A.H. Paffett, which is quite good. It's reinforcing much of what I thought, and giving more to think about. I will summarize it soon. In the meantime, the internet cable has been fixed so I will pick up Hooyer soon.
