This location Mashomack Preserve at Shelter Island,NY is out in the rich & famous area of Hamptons between the Long Island forks on the eastend. Rated A+ by renowned Kevin Stiegelmaier in his popular guidebook “Paddling Long Island and New York City”. This place is amazing in any season! I was here last year in the summer and now revisited in late falls.
