I had trouble with my kayak twisting in place while using Thule DockGrip mounts on my Microsport trailer. The trailer is quite bouncy with a light load and especially on dirt roads and dirt boat launch parking areas. I switched to the Swagman Exo Aero mounts and they not only hold the boat extremely securely they fit the Microsport 1/1/4" crossbars perfectly. It’s a rock solid option for trailer use.
