I am outfitting my canoes soon and would like to see what others have done. This is just for camping and to make them more usefull. I will start with the solo and latter do the family canoe. Any ideals would be great.

What kind of water do you see running? Full on whitewater? Class I-II river tripping? Lake paddling?

Add an adjustable footbrace
if you sit much while paddling, rather than kneeling.
I sit most of the time, so most of my solo canoes have footbraces.
