Planning a trip to Loch Linnhie

We re planning a trip hear next may half term. Thinking of heading across to mull.

We’ve got two reasonably expeirenced paddlers and a couple of novices.

Would welcome any advice on routes, good camping spots, plus advice on what to expect from tide and swell in these sea lochs. We did the Caledonian canal trip last year, so haven’t been in sea lochs before.

Do they offer some protection from rough weather or in tbat scenario, are we better heading more in land?

All advice very welcome

Thanks
