I’m not sure, I will try to track some down… we had some decent gusts here today. Could only manage pics at the start

The title of this thread is “Pretty Pictures - JUST Pretty Pictures”

My (now sold) Arctic Tern 14 in Colorado:
Incredible.
I’m no photographer and I tried to stick with pretty and water themed photos.
Killarney Prov. Park spring 2024
Pushing all of the sand that blows in every year before the park opens up. Decided to stop and enjoy this while nobody was around
My brother shooting for the depths at salmon camp fall 2023
Same spot but 5am the previous season
First night of paddling the coast of LSPP April of 2016 or 2017
No photographer? I would like to see your pictures when you do consider yourself one, those pictures had great balance and proportion.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I took a winter off from arborist work and worked with two of my best friends who own a photography/videography company. They showed me some tricks but I’m far from a person who knows what they’re doing.
My point is, even though these pictures looked very good to me from a technical stand point in their clarity and image quality, a lot of “ photographers” concentrate so much on the technical aspects to get the sharpest image, they lack the balance and proportion and composition that really make a photograph great. You got that.
Edit: I need some trees cut.
Those Pygmys are such pretty (and light) boats! Do you ever miss it?
My brother in upstate NY just sent me a FB ad for a similar S & G kayak (CLC Chesapeake 17) for sale near him for only $650, half the price of just the kit and obviously very well constructed, finished and outfitted. Tried to talk him into buying it to replace the battered plastic Necky Looksha 17 battleship I bought him 10 years ago but I don’t think he will bite.
I really liked the boat for what it was, but it was simply too snug for my size. I wanted to make it work but finally had to admit it wasn’t a good fit. Great boat, though!
