Pretty Pictures - Just Pretty Pictures

Over 450 boats launched in about an hour make for a “pretty” congested picture. We often paddle this stretch of river and never see another for 6 hours so the contrast of all the colorful boats was something different.

Shearwater! That’s it! It was built by a Seattle area woman who frequented P.com for a while. Seems like her name was Cathy. The Pygmy is a Tern 14 that I built 19 years ago.

Good luck this weekend! I’ve spent a lot of time at that lake front over the years. It’s been too many years since I’ve raced the Classic, but I’m hoping for next year. I first raced it in 1985 or 86! My family will be represented there for sure though.
