I believe the word is French for “You shouldn’t be here”. I think it’s pronounced “clap-AW-tee”.

More concerned about the cure
I had never seen this term spelled out in its full technical glory … and I’m not at all surprised that the French are involved.
To be honest I’d be more concerned about correctly pronouncing the cure … Pen i CIL lin.
