I’m looking for something local for some canoe camping with my 13 year old boyscout.



Any ideas south of Seattle would be great!

Hope Island or Anderson Island
in the South Puget Sound, both near Olympia, are both wonderful. The campground at Hope Island has several camp sites and a composting toilet. Anderson Island is a bit more primitive and there is only one camp site. You should get reservations for either of them.
