great idea
using pvc pipe. I too have not only a truck rack made from pvc pipe, but a kayak cart, and kayak storage rack for my garage. Use a little foam pipe insulation and the stuff works great. The company I work for was discarding a lot of 2 inch pvc pipe and fittings, so I couldn’t think of enough things to build! Good job!

Depends where you live, PVC will easily shatter in cold weather if a rock hits it at highway speed. I don’t trust PVC. Nice job, but I’ll stick with metal.
