Your butt is bigger than the seat the cockpit width is irrelevant. If your butt won’t go in then it won’t fit on the seat. It’s like a built in you must be this tall to ride this ride.

But what’s the advantage of lowering production costs if you’re missing thousands of potential customers?
Still, in this economy I’m sure it would be a difficult financial move for a small manufacturer to make changes.
QCC Cockpit Size
I’ve owned a 500X for almost 2 years and really like it, but I have to agree on the cockpit size issue. At 6’2" and 230 Lbs(34"-Inseam, 12"-Shoes) the cockpit could be alittle longer. I wouldn’t change much about the boat, but the one thing that I would change is the cockpit length (Maybe 2" to 3"). The width is actually a little large for me. QCC workmanship and customer service is the best I’ve seen.
