I put a d shaped weatherstrip
on the underside of my 700 hatch covers so it deflects a lot of the water before it has a chance to set on top of the seals.
I also ran a couple bungees across the foredeck at the first pair of perimeter line anchors. I had seen how waves come over the deck and hit the edge of the front hatch with considerable force.
These two things reduced the water significantly. I plan to vent the bulkheads too.
