I have owned several QCC 700s but this is my first one that has a skeg. I had to replace the skeg spring (Thank you Current Designs for taking this brand over and supplying me with this unique part!). How does one seal the pivot point where the skeg attaches to the kayak’s skeg box? There are a pair of cups that are glued into place that house the spring-driven pivot point but there seems that there should be some sort of way to keep tje water out of the spring housing.
