Has anyone out there paddled a Bluewater Freedom 16 Splitrock? How might it compare to a Bell Merlin II, Magic, Hemlock Kesterl, Swift Osprey, etc. Thanks.

Goe back awhile…
I paddled one a number of years ago prior to getting my Merlin II, so the memory is a little fuzzy. At the time I liked the handling of the Merlin II better; the Splitrock seemed to be faster, but a litle straighter tracking. Of course, since that time my stick skills have improved so am not sure how it would compare now. Too bad Bluewater is no longer producing it. Have a line on another?
