In a clear Seal-Line Bag
The bag clips to the deck line, the GPS unit can be worked thru the plastic and is reasonably easy to read as well, and stays dry and consumately available the whole time. I haven’t had the experience (yet), but I don’t think it’d be a real problem if I capsized. The worst that could happen is I hit my nose on it should I have the presence of mind to tuck up for a roll. I think my nost would survive.
