Put in at 10:30. Cloudy and very cool , stiff breeze. We saw 2 kayak fishermen. No other craft until we were almost in. A distant skiff.
We paddled the shore looking for whatever in the crystal clear water.
Saw a hawk , a Kingfisher and a few minnows. Too early for the loons apparently.
The water was warmer than the breeze.
Is the lake still low? The gang is planning a camping trip there this weekend, I was planning to be there with them. The last few days have been rough and I sort of doubt I will be up for it tonight. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. Glad to hear you got out and paddled today. Always good for the soul!
Sounds great. I need to put my boat in some water.

Lake looks about 6’ low. You are a hardy soul if you are going out there tonight. Windy and wet today.
