Has anyone had experience with this type of construction in boats? Actually I’m looking at a skiff by Pelican for cartopping but they make kayaks of the same material.

I don’t know how that material would perform when used for a different design. I am not familiar with the Pelican products. I’m not sure the stuff they call Ram-X now is the same stuff used in my canoe.
Is your question “How is the material that Pelican canoes are made of?” or “Should I buy a kayak made out of the stuff they make Pelican canoes from?” or “Can anybody tell me more about the properties of Ram-X plastic as used in Pelican canoes?”
