Hey all… planning a trip out to boundary waters in 2018, and curious from people who’ve been there in the last year or two when the fly season seems to start and end (I saw some posts while searching, but they were older and I know our insect seasons in Michigan have changed…).
some possible weeks are after June 4th (probably too late in the spring?), between august 6th and 24th, or the last 2-3 weeks in September.
Of course, the end of september is probably best, but wondering how cool it’s been those weeks lately?
Also curious how the ticks have been those times of year.
