Derek Hutchinson’s “Beyond the Cockpit” DVD put out by Univ. of Sea Kayaking. It is amazing to watch the master make his boat dance and explain what he is doing and how to do it so clearly. The skills are nicely laid out in a progressive format so that they build on each other and can be practiced in sequence. The “sea stories” Derek tells on the trailer make the video that much more enjoyable.
