I was given a SOF kayak several years ago. The skin is canvas coated with latex paint, which has cracked so badly over the years that the hull leaks like a sieve.
Is it practicable to refinish it rather than re-skinning it? Any suggestions for a) removing the old paint and b) what to re-seal the canvas with?
