St Joseph River yesterday afternoon. It rarely gets this calm.
The deer seem more calm lately too…less likely to hide when they see you.
The blue heron seem calm too. This pic was taken a few days ago but the same heron let me pass within about 15 feet yesterday (I avoid eye contact). I really enjoy watching the heron climb around/over logjams. Another heron seems to like flying just ahead of me over and over like we’re playing a game.
