Well, as my aging eyes are going by the wayside, I now notice in the good light that I have various spots of dried Watco on the carbon fiber hull from when I re-oiled the wood trim a few days ago. I normally manage to get it all wiped clean, but missed this time. Any hull-safe solvent suggestions for the oil removal?
I have used plain old…
paint thinner (aka mineral spirits) for the same purpose on my blackgold boats without any issues

Acetone should work.
Acetone is what is used to cleanup your composite boat and about everything else when it was made. Use with care.

thanks for the tips…
will give acetone a try. I did try the mineral spirits, but it had no effect…at least immediately anyway.
