Rental place blow out sale tips

A local rental place near me that does rentals is having a blow out sale this weekend. I’m curious if there any tips for me going in. What kind of wear and tear to look out for. Is it worth buying a something from a rental fleet. I’m 90% sure they sell off their stock every year so it’s one season worth of wear. They do rentals on the Hudson River.

Anyone have any experience with these types of events.

Thanks

On poly boats, check the hulls for any cracks or deep gouges that may turn into cracks.
