I put this on wrong forum before. Has anyone done this? Mine is 2015 and hatch is broken. I unscrewed all the screws and I tried to remove the broken hatch and it won’t come off. I’m afraid to break it. I cannot did any instructions or videos on how to do it. Has anyone replaced the hatch?
If you don’t get a response here, why not call Wilderness Systems and ask? https://www.wildernesssystems.com/us/customer-service
They also provide a schematic of the parts on your boat: https://www.wildernesssystems.com/us/sites/default/files/PDFs/Pungo%20120%20Schematic.pdf
I tried to call Harmony and could not get through. So I called Austin Kayak and the guy said it’s just some sealant that I should scrape off. Can someone verify? Thanks
So after all that, I tried again and sure enough the hatch came off. New one ordered.
Good . I said that on your other post.
So I have the replacement hatch and ready to install. There was a bead of caulk on the old one. I’m thinking of using 5200 but it is permanent and I want to verify it’s the right stuff to use to ensure a watertight seal. Thanks.

Use 4100. It doesn’t get hard like 5100.
Thanks — the comments from the manufacturer are that it allows for future disassembly. Which was my reluctance with the 5200.
Lexel is the best. I’m fairly sure that’s what Wilderness Systems uses. I’ve used it to replace an orbix hatch and to reseal bulkheads. You can get it at most building supply or hardware stores. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Lexel-10-5-fl-oz-Clear-Paintable-Solvent-Caulk/4714985
