Replacing a seat back

I bought an old perception carolina on craigslist, and it has a hard plastic seat/seat back. I’m not sure how old it is, but its before the more modular systems.



The bottom of the seat I can deal with, but the back is pretty uncomfortable. Would it be easy to put a different seat back in? Its just attached by some cords, then has a pivot groove on the bottom. Most the things I see are for sit on tops.

consider replacing it with a backband
