Hello - when messaging the seller of an item in the classified ads, does the seller get an email sent to them, or do they have to log into this site to see any messages about their ad?

I have sold a lot of stuff on PNET/PCOM, Craigslist and FB Market Place. I receive an email and a PCOM alert. I do not respond to every notification or inquiry. There are a lot of spammers/spam bots out there, fishing for personal information. I received one yesterday, posted on PCOM and a notification email… I choose not to respond to it. The “potential buyer’s” inquiry appeared to be a fishing /bot inquiry, with no intent to buy. There was not a real question in the response. So I just deleted it. I only answer inquiries, if the initial notification has questions directly related to the specific kayak posted.

Thanks for clarifying - I figured the seller should get an email, but I’m anxious to try to get what they’re selling, and on their info page it looks like they just joined right before posting the classified ad.
