Without the hip pads there is 16" of space between the seat sides at the seat pan

Crazy most companies are at 16" seats no larger. So easier to make wider seat below the deck. I can get in 16" but it’s to tight to use. Plenty of people bigger than me and I don’t mean over weight that can’t fit in 16" seat.
