Reverse Bow

Check out this reverse bow–I like it!!

You can’t tell whether it is coming or going.

With just a little bit more redesign, the boat should paddle well upside down.

Ya think it’ll pearl FAST?

Not much buoyancy up high to pull it out of that pearl.

Somebody forgot to tell them about trying to “reinvent the wheel” !

Plus seaweed, grass and other flotsam will just float up on the bow…

for your next paddling trip gathering wild rice…

Wow. Learned something new. Thanks, kayamedic!

Its kind of fugly or prugly… ( Pretty+ugly?) Neat link Rookie!

Not really clear on how they’d perform in big water. I have a reverse bow on one of my boats, but it is intended for speed on flatwater.
I know of a surfski brand that utilizes a reverse bow. It’s been used on downwinds, but not sure how it compares to others in the same conditions.

Nice, but, that’s cheating, because it looks like he’s not planning the reverse trip by water.

It would be balanced. Weeds collect on those straight down rudders too.
