I also have a Bear Claw but went with a pointed tip serated blade.
I have it mounted right in front of the cockpit for easy access.
Also one for the Pfd just good knifes that won’t accidentally fall out of the sheath.

a Cold Steel Ak-47. Pretty good knife and at $80 its not too expensive. Big fan of their knives
