Hey folks,
I wanted to let everyone know that the John Wesley Powell River History Museum in Green River, UT is inducting four boatmen into the River Runners Hall of Fame on October 1st. The 2016 inductees are Elzada Clover, Lois Jotter, Bill Belknap, and Katie Lee. We’re holding an induction ceremony and banquet on October 1st as part of the Moab River Rendezvous (www.moabriverrendezvous.com). It’s an open event, with limited seating, but we’d love to see some paddlers there. Banquet tickets are only $15.
Also, we’re running an online fundraiser to help pay for the Hall of Fame exhibits that will hang in the museum.
