How soon will the RS site be back on line ? Anyone hear any recent information ?

I really miss the website. I’m sure Brian is busy with the new baby, and family should always come first. During one of the Kentucky Rodeos he mentioned getting several thousand emails a week, so I haven’t attempted to contact him or otherwise add to all the crap he has to wade through in his spare time. Hopefully we’ll be back talking smallie fishing again by the end of the year. I might contact Billy Elkins (the creekbank.com), he usually stays in touch with Brian as they don’t live very far from each other.

The last of the forum files (images and database) are being moved to the new server. We are about a week behind our initial schedule, but the move is wrapping up. We will then complete the forum upgrade. If there are any problems with the upgrade itself, we will have to deal with those as they come. We can’t give a timeframe for full operation, but we are working to get the forum up and running.

Although I miss
the RS site I figure it’ll be up, when it’s up. Brian has a LOT on his plate right now and if I had to guess, it’ll be after Christmas before we see the site ‘on the air’ again.
Besides…we got everyone’s email and phone numbers. I seem to talk directly with the Northern VA members a lot more lately over the phone than I used to. 
Latest info
The main shell of the RS site is back on the air. THe forums aren’t working yet, but the archive articles and home page are now being broadcast from the new server. Just a matter of Brian finishing the update on the forums and it’ll be up and running again.
I can’t wait
to talk to my old friends over there. But it’s been a blessing in disguise. Now I have a lot of new friends in the making over here.
