Hello, Noob question here,
Just recently purchased a Penobscot 17 (65lbs, Royalex) and I’m itching to get in the water. The only problem is that I don’t know if the river level is too low. We have a pretty good organization here called the Roanoke River Blueway. They state the minimum put in Cubic Feet Per second is 150 f3/s; the river is currently at 165 where I’d be putting in. Does anyone have any experience with this section (West Salem to Salem Rotary Park)? Any advice you’d have would be greatly appreciated.
