We currently have three double kayaks for our family and are looking for something to make loading them on the roof of a suburban a little easier. I love the idea of the rollerloader, but since our boats have to be loaded on their sides, I am wondering if this will work.
Has anyone tried it?

…is they probably will be of help. Only prob I see is , at some point, you will have to wrestle the boat over onto it’s side.(I’m assuming you are using J-bars). I have a small roller that fits in the rear door slot between door and body on my van and it’s a tremendous help in helping load the boat onto saddles with ease. Various companies make various roller style loaders. I think the hardest thing here is deciding which brand will work the best for you.
