Steve A next time I will strap foam blocks to kayak to take some weight off front bar mounts. So much hangs forward past mount point. Long over hang.

Thanks for the great photos. We don’t have factory racks - so we are able to get less overhang in front Thule crossbar at forward edge of cab - about 8" back from windshield. I noticed NY plates and FL watercraft license (on powerboat in background). Do you transport the Libra over that distance some times?
