I am on a trip right now that will take me over the whole trail. Something I am not really looking forward to because… a lot of Florida is developed. This means that on the FCSPT you will spend several days paddling past condos and other developed areas without a lot of places to land, even for short breaks. The other problem is camping. Most of the FCSPT (or the Florida Coast) is setup so that you have to spend about 1 out of 4 or 5 nights in a hotel. In addition to that a lot of the camp grounds aren’t cheap. You can stealth camp in a lot of places, but with any amount of traffic the sites won’t be so stealthy.
