Anderson , teaches kayaking from the basics up. Nice guy.And come to the Jocassee Rendezvous the last weekend in April. There will be several serious paddlers there who can help.

Check out Ocean Air Kayak in Folly Beach. Tom Nickels is a talented and enthusiastic instructor and is very thorough and mostly fun to be with, especially when he puts his war paint on to go paddling. Good instruction in the beginning definitely shortens the learning curve by a bunch. Cheers---------------Kevin

I took a class with Tom Nickels and he is great. spends a lot of time with you and makes sure you understand and have the tools to practice on your own.
East coast canoe and kayak festival in April will have lots of classes and intros. Our very own Flatpick will be there giving a couple of classes also.
