Give me a REAL ocean wave any day!!! If this is surfing, then peddling on an exercise bike is biking! Anyways, I guess it is more fun than flat water kayaking.

You boys need to get out more “Temporary fix”? “Exercise bike” of surfing? The Skook is God’s Gift to surfing. Some of the most amazing surf moves ever have been perfected there. As Chris stated, it was flowing 8knts which can be handled in a sea kayak. Usually 11 to 14 is optimum for surf with all hell breaking loose at 15 and above. Sing, I URGE you, go west, young man.
